What
is a Collection ?
Swatch has 5 different
watch collections: Originals,
Skin,
Flik Flak, Irony, and
Bijoux the Jewellery
collection. The products within each collection are associated with a particular
style. For instance, Originals are plastic watches with an artistic flair;
Skin
watches are extremely thin and fashionable; Irony (metal) watches range from
sporty to fashionable, and the Beat watches are high-tech, futuristic and
feature Internet time.

Originals
Collection
The original family of Swatch watches
which began with the Swatch Gent. These watches are characterized by their
plastic housing, strap etc. The Swatch story is the stuff of legend, as is
its reliability. A new battery, every three or four
years, and the watch with the impossible price goes on
maintaining the myth. Swatch is shock-resistant,
precise, ultrarobust, extremely reliable and
water-resistant. In just a few short years, this
impossible wristwatch has become a classic in its own
right, an international symbol for a new direction in
timekeeping. Always different, yet always the same.

Gent
The original plastic Swatch design. Recognised by
its’ characteristically shaped case and amazing, fresh designs. (family – Originals).

Ladies
The plastic design for woman. Its’ case is similar
to the Gent but decidedly smaller and daintier. (family – Originals &
Irony).

Swatch
Fun Scuba - The first Swatch with an automatic depth
meter
The
depth meter automatically activates once the watch is
submerged below one metre of water.
The hour hand displays the depth down to a
maximum of 40 metres, and the minute hand shows the
total diving time – up to 90 minutes.
You can also store information about your
favourite dive and view it whenever you like.
A Fun Scuba can
withstand depths of up to 200 meters, but manages fine elsewhere too. This
doesn’t mean that a Fun Scuba is a replacement for a sports diver’s diving
computer, but it’s certainly an impressive substitute for the diving sticker on
the back window of their automobile.
